TIA HANSON
PROJECT MANAGER | DESIGNER
Tia joined the MA team as an Intern Architect and brings with her a passion for design and an eye for detail. She enjoys the collaboration involved in design and loves being part of the process when a design grows from paper to reality. Growing up in Canada, she spent most of her childhood on the ice rink, pursuing her dream of playing professional hockey. She attended the University of Wisconsin on an athletic scholarship where she played for the Badgers and won two NCAA National Championships. After her college career, she maintained her hockey roots by competing in Red Bull Crashed Ice. She later obtained both her Bachelors degree in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from Montana State University, where her passion for mountain architecture grew even stronger. When not in the studio, she can be found in the mountains biking and snowboarding, in the water surfing, or in a local coffee shop sipping a maple latte.
